We have come to the end of our first month participating in the Wow Living Streets. It is amazing to see how many children have received their first badge today!
This months badge is the suffragette badge
Here are some facts about them:
- The suffragettes campaigned for equal opportunities for women in the early 20th century.
- Their campaign led to 8.4 million women being granted the right to vote for the first time in 1918.
- It took another 10 years for all women to be allowed to vote with the same rights as men.
Well done everyone for a super start to Living Streets!
